Throwback to the exhibition Love, Maybe – Intimacy and Desire in Contemporary Art
The exhibition Love, Maybe – Intimacy and Desire in Contemporary Art, curated by guest curator Dr. Jana Johanna Haeckel, closed its doors on 17 July in the two exhibition spaces of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung, the BlackBox and the BlackBox FirstFloor. We look back on around six successful months full of lunch breaks, guided tours, and a very stimulating artist talk with many interested national and international guests.
The exhibition was dedicated to the possibilities and challenges of depicting love in contemporary art. The group show featured around 240 photographs, multimedia installations, and five large glass sculptures by a total of 24 international artists from 13 countries.
The richly illustrated catalog Love, Maybe and the podcast of the same name with numerous artist interviews offer inspiring moments beyond the exhibition.
