20-minute guided tour followed by a lunchtime snack
with Katharina Wenkler

When you walk past Zsuzsanna Kóródi’s artworks, you have to look twice. Has the artwork just moved, flickered, lit up? What initially looks like abstract patterns of shapes, geometric color combinations and pixel effects turns out to be a sophisticated optical illusion when the viewer’s perspective changes. Kóródi’s glass wall works deal with digitality, virtuality and three-dimensional space – they are reminiscent of screens or technical devices. How does our daily use of these gadgets change our aesthetic sense and our visual threshold?

Experience contemporary art in the compact format of a lunch break! The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s Lunch Breaks offer intellectual nourishment and culinary delight at the BlackBox. The foundation’s team provides 20 minutes of insights into the current show on changing artworks and themes. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas over a midday snack – either in the sculpture garden or the BlackBox, depending on the weather. The lunch snack is included in the ticket price.
