20 minute guided tour followed by a lunch snack
With Katharina Wenkler
Stéphane Couturier’s photographs impress with elegantly sinuous lines and brilliant light and color effects. In color, line, and composition, they seem much closer to abstract painting than to conventional industrial photography. His work series Melting Point/Toyota of 2005, which shows the production processes at the Toyota assembly plant in Valenciennes, also follows this approach. The photographs reflect industrial creativity in time and space—in which human beings seem to have disappeared almost entirely—and reveal a surprising order in the apparent chaos of dynamic lines and vibrant colors.
Experience contemporary art in the compact format of a lunch break! The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s Lunch Breaks offer intellectual nourishment and culinary delight at the BlackBox, the new art venue in Parkstadt Schwabing. The foundation’s team provides 20 minutes of insights into the current show on changing artworks and themes. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas over a midday snack – either in the sculpture garden or the BlackBox, depending on the weather. The lunch snack is included in the ticket price.
The ticket will be delivered by email.
No shipping costs apply.
