The Pink Tote Bag from Murano: Glass and High Fashion

For the 2024 Venice Biennale, Mark Bradford collaborated with the glass masters of Murano to create this iconic glass tote bag: How is it made? And why is it pink? And what do the engraved tally marks mean? The Lunch Break explores these and other questions while delving into the underbelly of the romantic lagoon city.

Experience contemporary art in the compact format of a lunch break! The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s Lunch Breaks offer intellectual nourishment and culinary delights in the BlackBox and BlackBox FirstFloor. The foundation’s team provides 20 minutes of entertaining insights into the current exhibition of changing artworks and themes. Afterwards, there is an opportunity for discussion over a lunch snack. The lunch snack is included in the ticket price.
