20-minute guided tour followed by a lunchtime snack
with Dr. Jörg Garbrecht

Five neon works are on display in the current exhibition. The technique of producing neon tubes, which is over 100 years old, requires a great deal of dexterity, staying power and around 700° C to bend the glass tubes. During the Lunch Break, we decipher the various coding systems that Brigitte Kowanz and James Akers represent with their bent glass tubes and go on a compact journey through time from hieroglyphics to the emoji of today.

Experience contemporary art in the compact format of a lunch break! The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s Lunch Breaks offer intellectual nourishment and culinary delight at the BlackBox. The foundation’s team provides 20 minutes of insights into the current show on changing artworks and themes. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas over a midday snack – either in the sculpture garden or the BlackBox, depending on the weather. The lunch snack is included in the ticket price.

The ticket will be sent by email.
No shipping costs apply.
