Between light and silence – a Japanese evening

The current exhibition Future Horizons offers an exciting insight into the diversity of the foundation’s collection of contemporary glass. A special focus is placed on artistic positions from Asia. The evening will focus on eleven glass works by Japanese artists, inviting visitors to engage in deeper contemplation. In a dialogical tour, Alexandra Baringer and Masami Hirohata—a former artist and Kind scholarship recipient of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung with Japanese roots—will discuss the common characteristics of the works and place them in the broader context of contemporary Japanese glass. The evening will then come to a relaxed close with authentic Japanese finger food, a sip of sake, and traditional Japanese music.

EUR 28.00 for expert discussion and dinner including drinks.

The ticket will be sent by email.
No shipping costs apply.

Please note that remaining tickets can only be paid for at the box office by credit card or EC card.
