Female Artist and Child funding program

New scholarship awards in 2024

The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung is continuing its 2023 scholarship program “Female Artist and Child” this year. The funding is aimed at freelance female artists living in Germany who work with glass and are the mother of a child not yet of school age but older than one year.

The aim of the program is to give mothers the freedom to master the challenge of having a child and a career. Starting on November 1, 2024, up to five scholarships will be awarded for a period of 12 months at EUR 5,000 per month each. This will allow female artists who have completed their training to devote themselves fully to their artistic work and develop concrete career prospects.

The generous funding allows the artists to afford comprehensive childcare and gives them the freedom to go on educational trips, take part in courses or rent a studio. This gives them the opportunity to experiment, develop their artistic skills and realize their own projects.
