Works from the collection at Diözesanmuseum

Under the title Empathy, the Diözesanmseum Freising will be showing a solo exhibition on Kiki Smith from October 8, 2023. Among others, the exhibition will feature two works from the collection of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung, which the foundation is making available to the museum on loan. Kiki Smith is personally on hand to mount the exhibition, which brings together outstanding works by the artist from the past two decades.

The work Ashen was still on view through January as part of the exhibition WIDE OPEN. INTO THE OPEN at the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s BlackBox. Mine was part of the 2018 exhibition Viewing the Other at the foundation’s Villa.
