Inspiring artist talk: Love, Maybe on 8 May 2025
The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung’s current group exhibition, Love, Maybe – Intimacy and Desire in Contemporary Art, features around 240 photographs, multimedia installations, and five large sculptural works using the medium of glass by a total of 24 international artists from 13 countries, exploring the possibilities and challenges of depicting love in contemporary art.
As part of the exhibition, an artists’ talk was held in cooperation with the Haus der Kunst Munich and as part of VARIOUS OTHERS – Contemporary Art Munich. The guests were Eli Cortiñas, Matthieu Croizier, Lea Kunz, and Karla Hiraldo Voleau, whose works are currently on display in the BlackBox and the BlackBox FirstFloor. Guest curator Jana Johanna Haeckel and Jana Baumann, curator at Haus der Kunst, guided the audience through the topics of the evening.
The numerous visitors gained fascinating insights into the working methods of the artists present and their profound exploration of the themes of love and intimacy during the stimulating panel discussion.
Love, Maybe is on view through 17 July 2025, and is accompanied by a four-part podcast and a catalog.
