C/O Berlin Talent Award 2021 Exhibition
The exhibition of this year’s winner of the C/O Berlin Talent Award in the category “art“, the Italian-Senegalese artist Adji Dieye, opened at C/O Berlin on 10 December. The prestigious award was sponsored exclusively by the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung for the second year in a row. Unique in Europe, the award honors aspiring photographers and art critics up to the age of 35, accompanies them on their creative path, and provides a starting point for international exhibitions.
In the category “theory“, the C/O Berlin Talent Award 2021 goes to the Nigerian author Emmanuel Iduma. He will write the first art theory essay on the work Culture Lost and Learned by Heart by Adji Dieye. Together with an interview with the artist, the essay will appear in a monographic publication by Spector Books, which C/O Berlin is publishing on the occasion of the artist’s solo exhibition.
