Renewal of Vital Backing of Munich’s Haus der Kunst
The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung has decided to continue its substantial funding of the Haus der Kunst. For the next three years, the foundation has pledged an annual sum in the mid-six-figure range to the Munich museum. The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung has been the main sponsor of the Haus der Kunst since 2016. The continuation of this vital grant enables the public museum under the stewardship of its new director, Andrea Lissoni, to pursue its ambitious programming with art exhibitions and events into the future.
In a statement, Dr. Eva-Maria Fahrner-Tutsek, Chair of the Board of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung, said: “We see contemporary art and the aesthetic and critical thought processes it conveys as an extremely exciting and sensitive seismograph of the current state of the world. Art is essential for a vibrant, enlightened society that is ready to embrace the future. The Haus der Kunst shares our vision of contemporary art and, as an innovative institution with an international reputation, is an ideal partner for our goals.”
