Alexander Tutsek Photography Grant awarded once again

The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the exhibition Future Horizons. Glass in Contemporary Art and the publication About Glass. In this special year, the international Alexander Tutsek Photography Grant will be awarded again. Set up in 2023, the grant is central to the foundation’s diverse range of art funding.

Under the overarching theme of Stories on Humankind, the Alexander Tutsek Photography Grant will enable a total of four international photographers to realize an individual project during the period from 1 October 2025, to 30 September 2026.

Four scholarships worth €50,000 each were awarded to artists specializing in contemporary photography. Including German photographer Valentin Goppel, who lives in Hanover; Filipina artist Wawi Navarroza, who lives in Manila; artist Wei Leng Tay, who lives in Singapore; and artist Shwe Wutt Hmon, who was born in Myanmar and lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
